NEBU, shadows and light
A protected heart, safe and hidden behind fabric, far from false emotions yet illuminated, like a hope that never fades.
Nebu is a creation born from the desire to set form free and interact with matter. Light travels across the curves of the fabric—created by inserting specific elements—while the rest is sketched by the resulting shadows. Light and shadow are the true protagonists here, no longer the physical form.
Constructed with an aluminum frame, wood, and Plexiglas. LED lighting system.
I chose two initial shapes: a lamp and a heart. I chose the lamp because I wanted to schematically evoke a symbol of illumination.
Un Cuore protetto, al sicuro, nascosto dietro un tessuto, lontano dai sentimenti falsi, ma illuminato, come una speranza sempre accesa.
Nebu è una creazione nata dalla voglia di lasciare libera la forma e interagire con la materia, la luce, attraversa le curve del tessuto che si formano inserendo degli elementi, il resto lo disegnano le ombre che si formano, sono la luce e le ombre i protagonisti, non piu la forma. Realizzata con telaio in alluminio, legno e plexyglass. Impianto illuminazione led.
Ho scelto due forme iniziali, una lampada, e un cuore, la lampada perche mi piaceva richiamare schematicamente un silmbolo di illuminazione.
